Subject: Plitt Company July 06, 2006 Market Report Date: Thu, 6 Jul 2006 1427 -0700 One of the most beautiful (and delicious) of the Hawaiian snappers,
    onagas
are a summertime favorite! Their moist pink flesh is similar to other
snappers, and has a delicate, sweet flavor. We have some gorgeous
    onaga
available for a wonderful weekend special, fish are available whole,
fillet, or portioned. We have plenty of other tasty Hawaiian options
    as
well – like opah and ono. Aloha!

Cobia is loved by sport anglers for its tenacious spirit; we prefer
    it
for its tasty, firm meat! Cobia live on a tasty diet of fish, crabs,
    and
even small turtles, giving them a distinctively delicious flavor.
    Toss
some cobia on the grill this weekend, or work it onto your lunch menu –
    your customers will be hooked!

Pompano, fresh from Florida, is another perfect weekend special
    choice.
We have pompano in the house, but limited availability of this tasty
    treat
means you better act fast if you want to offer this great fish over the
    weekend.

Our Chilean swordfish has been getting rave reviews from our
    customers
around the Midwest. With its rich, buttery flavor and firm, meaty
texture, swordfish is perfect for a variety of warm weather
    applications.

Summertime favorites like softshell crabs, fresh Alaskan halibut, and
wild Alaskan salmon continue to be available – but like all wild
    species
can be affected by weather, market conditions, seasonality, and other
variables – stay in touch with your rep regarding day-to-day pricing
    and
    availability.

Absolutely impeccable Copper River sockeyes continue to come in from
    the
Pooles – direct from Cordova, Alaska’s pristine watershed. There are
definitely cheaper fish out there – but none that have been handled
    with
the care that these fish have. Brought on board live, bled out, gutted
and headed on board the boat, iced and then immediately delivered to
    the
airport – it really doesn’t get any fresher. These are salmon of
    SUPERIOR
QUALITY, and we guarantee you will notice the difference…

Want to meet our Alaskan salmon fishermen first hand? Enter our 3rd
annual Taste Alaska! Wild Alaskan salmon recipe contest and you just
    might
win a trip to Alaska! Ask your rep for more details.

Lake Victoria tenderloin is an easy, delicious hot weather option –
    and
with King Tut in town, it’s the perfect time to enjoy this delicacy –
    also
known as Nile perch! Kids love it, Dads love it, and Mummys love it
    too!

We know it’s hot out and you might need a hand in the kitchen – it’s
    a
great time to check out our value-added offerings like hand crafted
    salmon
burgers, crab cakes, and sushi! Made to order, let your rep know
    you’d
like to learn more about what our team is cooking up over here… ]]
