  • Korean Beef Bulgogi

    as MR.MOM pointed out previously,

    if you marinate the beef ribs for Korean BBQ style, do add few sliced Kiwi fruits.

    Or, if you can get ripe pears, peel them, slices and marinate with the ribs toọ

    The result is very rewarding! (tender and sweet!)

    Please allow me to add that if you do not have kiwi or pear, you can add pineapple juice to the meat instead. I normally marinate ribs the night before.

        Yes!

        While pineapple (and juice) as well as green papaya is a very STRONG meat tenderizer;

        pears and now Kiwi are milder, sweeter.

        The Korean do have a way to marinate pork, with fruit and sugar, garlic for BBQ. never let the garlic burned (shake them off first).

                  PLEASE tell me what has been the trouble with your son.

                  We all must try hard to minimize the sick days for little kids.

                  Chinese chicken on the skews:

                  * chicken breasts, sliced into strips or chunks
                  * cooking wine or Mai Qwe Low
                  * salt, pepper, soysauce

                  * cayenne pepper powder to taste

                  marinate for about half of an hour

                  Skew; grill on gray charcoal;

                  baste with honey + vinegar dilution.

                  Serve hot

                        as to all of the symptoms you described herein,

                        just give him Tylenol per his dose, chilled fluid and comfort him ( = let him know that you KNOW his sufferings, but he has to deal with it too! comfort but not spoil)
